Nice hotel, only 4 rooms have ocean view, the rest come partial view. Excellent breakfast, good service, the beach is delicious. The hotel would be better if I had some repairs.
For the price point everything is good. The staff are amazing. Especially the breakfast staff! Breakfast was surprisingly good! Pool and beach access are great. The actual building is a bit old, tv’s are ancient, sliding glass doors could use maintenance.
We liked Hotel Posada Freeman Zona Dorada. The location is excellent, beach is fine for swimming, pool is good also. The staff of the hotel is uniformly excellent! Our room was fine and the maid did an excellent job of cleaning it. Breakfast was included in our rate, a buffet, with lots of good choices, mainly Mexican food (which we like) and also fruit, juice, pancakes and lots more. The internet signal was poor in our room (4th floor) although good around the pool and the lobby. Someone decided to buy a player piano and have it play loudly all day in the lobby, an irritating sound and unnecessary expense. Overall, we'd stay here again.
Small hotel in a great location. Rooms are clean a staff is friendly. Swimming pool is small and crowded during the weekend. The breakfast buffet is the best!
I really enjoyed my stay, it's great if you have a low budget vacation. The beds in the room are a bit small and the alivator is very small and slow but they have great breakfast and a bar out side with great service. The beach is right behind the hotel so no walking over the road, over all I think it's well worth the price
Wonderful location, small hotel - on the swimmable, walkable beach - attentive staff, fabulous buffet breakfast, good restaurants within blocks, great public transit (green bus) to the Old Town, good Internet in room 302. Only problem was very minor...business computers in lobby lost intenet connection toward the end of my stay, and though reported was not fix before I left. As I say, very minor problem. Great place to stay.
Ok first off the staff are amazing. So helpful kind and courteous. Juan in particular at the pool bar speaks Perfect English as well as Spanish and made over than expected efforts to ensure we had anything you might need or want. His team is awesome. People come from the bigger hotels around because of the service and pool bar right on the beach. Great location and super affordable. This should be a premier hotel for best western. I will be back again and again.
